Frontier handles its domestic flight availability through a brutal cutoff. Pass holders can only reserve domestic flights starting the day before departure. If a flight departs at 4:00 PM on a Friday, booking availability opens at midnight (12:01 AM) on Thursday morning in the departure city's local time zone. That leaves an anxious 24-to-36-hour planning horizon.
The algorithm only releases last-minute seat inventory after regular cash-paying passengers pick over the route. Empty seats do not automatically transfer to pass holders. Frontier caps the total number of GoWild seats allocated per flight. If a plane has 30 unsold seats, the airline might allocate two, five, or none at all to the subscription pool.
International routes operate under a separate cadence. For flights to Mexico, the Caribbean, or Central America, the booking window stretches to 10 days prior to departure. That broader buffer offers actual breathing room. You can secure lodging without scrambling, though returning home still requires snagging a confirmed outbound seat within the exact same release rules.
