Tim Allen’s dad was born in Denver, Colorado, on December 15, 1924, to Lewis Albert Dick and Rebekah Cunningham Miller.

Gerald M. Dick was a real estate agent and Tim Allen’s father died at the early age of 41 years. According to rumors, he was killed in a traffic accident in the early 60s.

It is rumored that Allen was 11 years old when his father died in a car accident when he collided with a drunk driver.

Interestingly, Gerald was survived by his six children who are grown now including Tim Allen who happens to be his third-born child.
